We've been looking for an imitate late venue to have the next lovetoparty since the Sequential EP launch last July. A successful party with our friends from the Bohemian Artists Studio at this private venue in October convinced us to book it for Leonidas' birthday and to celebrate the forthcoming vinyl EP "Machines, Tapes and Electronic Setups" by Leonidas & Hobbes which comes out in May.

There are two floors: a funky bar area upstairs and an intimate downstairs bass-ment. The whole venue is purple :-)

We'll be welcoming Wholemeal Music's good vibrations on the ground floor till 1am and Leonidas & Kay Suzuki will bring their Roland TR-707 and SH-101 to the basement for a little jam later on too.

NEW WEEKLY SUNDAY NIGHT in London!

We've all heard it a zillion times now. Dalston is the new Shoreditch. Cutting edge ideas in music, fashion and culture are born here everyday - some of which eventually make the mainstream years later. And by then, Dalston is onto something else. Like the latest event held at the infamous venue, The Alibi on Kingsland High St every Sunday starting from 27th of November.

The event is aptly titled Rotation and the music policy is strictly vinyl. There's a Record Fair hosted by local record shops and DJs, which kicks off at 4pm. Resident DJs spin classic vinyl gems while you browse, and have drink and socialise with other vinyl junkies. Then from 6pm onwards the dancefloor opens up and plays host to East London's most cutting edge and established DJs playing Disco, Boogie, House, Detroit, Afro, Jazz and beyond. Complimented by a banging sound system (Void Acoustics speakers & Urei1620 DJ mixer) and FREE ADMISSION, come down and check out Dalston's newest sunday night sessions.
